I felt the course opened my eyes, showing me how difficult it really is to manage a NTE and how many different people from the different industries, police, LAs etc are needed to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Great venue and great hospitality.  Licensing is not the most riveting of subjects, but Peter made the course content interactive and the day flew by. He obviously has the right formula as not only did we enjoy the day, we both passed with flying colours!

My wife and I attended the BIIAB Level 2 Course for Personal Licence Holders run by ABV in March 2013. Neither of us had any previous knowledge of this subject and were apprehensive about the learning we had to do in just one day. Our trainer Jo Egitto was an inspiration. She is a total professional and really knows how to get the information across. Our group were taught

Hi everyone at abv just wanted to send you all a great big thankyou for all the help I received on my recent course with you . A big special thanks goes to Alex who was brilliant.

 

I wasn’t looking forward to doing the course, I have been a landlady for the past 31 years and thought i knew it all but how wrong I was.

 

Alex came to our pub to do the final part of the course he came at about 11.30 am and left at 8.45 pm - now that’s dedication.  Alex went through every thing on the food side with me even down to drawing up a new menu for the pub which he thought would be far better even doing costing for me and finding me suppliers.

 

Our takings are up 180% and still rising. Alex is passionate about his job and has a wealth of knowledge regarding the license trade both Doug and myself are extremely grateful that he passed some of that onto us. If an old cat like myself can learn from a course any one can. A great big thanks once again to all the team especially Alex.

 

By the way he makes great cocktails as well another trick he taught us.

Good morning

 

My partner and I attended a course at Gloucester Cricket Club in Bristol yesterday Wednesday 14 December and would just like to say what an unexpectedly interesting and enjoyable day it was.  Having had a very difficult journey into Bristol from Warminster we arrived with seconds to spare to be welcomed so cheerfully by Jo.  She made the course so much fun that we took everything in without it being hard work, and this made the final test very straightforward.
