This new and exciting qualification is a direct result of research undertaken by the Civic Trust, which identified a national need for motivation and training for practitioners and policy makers in developing and managing the night-time economy. The research has also culminated in the Purple Flag Accreditation Scheme, now run by the Association of Town Centre Management, and this trail-blazing qualification will greatly benefit applicants for the scheme.
The qualification is relevant to anyone working in these areas:
Once enrolled onto the three day programme you will be sent the course handbook which covers everything from Licensing to Planning Policy. During the course, each section is referenced and discussed with its impacts on the Night Time Economy. A workbook accompanies the course which asks certain questions of your own NTE and builds to form an action plan that you can take back with you.
Key Topics
Previous delegates have found the interaction, discussion and the sharing of best practice very useful and they have now got more of a strategic appreciation for their own NTE, and are able to better influence positive change.
The three day course is assessed by an exam consisting of 6 short answer questions worth 10 marks each
